1792 Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon distilled and bottled by the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. The distillery was founded in 1879 and is the oldest fully operating distillery in town.
The name recalls 1792, the year Kentucky became a US state. In Brazil, the label was launched in 2023 by Aurora Fine Brands.
The recipe is a high-rye one, with a large share of rye, and each batch is a marriage of barrels chosen by the master distiller. The property has 29 barrel-aging warehouses and the Tom Moore Spring. It is bottled at 46.85% alcohol (93.7 proof).
