The spirit of it

Every drink arrives on the site with specs and a pyramid researched from sources. What the community adds is exactly what the source doesn't have: how it actually tasted to the person who drank it, on what occasion, and whether it was worth it.

There's no such thing as wrong taste. There are honest reviews and copied reviews.

What makes a good review

• Say what you experienced: aroma, flavor, texture, how it finished.
• Give the context: chilled or at room temperature, neat or in a cocktail, with what food, which vintage or batch.
• Compare it with another drink already on the site — it really helps people who've never tried it.
• Be honest in your praise and your criticism, and talk about the drink, not about the people who like it.

What's not allowed

• Insults, threats and discrimination of any kind.
• Advertising, coupons, sales links, or promoting stores and profiles.
• Text copied from the producer, a critic, another site or another member.
• AI-generated text presented as your own experience.
• Extra accounts, coordinated voting and mass voting to push a drink up or down.
• Made-up information about a drink: ABV, vintage, awards, price.
• Someone else's personal data.
• Illegal content, and anything that encourages minors to drink or anyone to drive after drinking.

About flavor and profile votes

Voting for a note in the pyramid means saying that you tasted it, not that it's written on the drink page. The same goes for the sensory profile bars. If you didn't taste it, don't vote: the community pyramid is only worth something if it's honest.

What happens when someone crosses the line

The content is taken down, and when possible we explain why to the person who posted it. If it happens again, the account is suspended. In serious cases — threats, illegal content, coordinated attacks — the account is closed immediately, and the case may be referred to the competent authorities.

How to report a problem

Write to [email protected] with a link to what you saw. For catalog corrections, include the source (producer, critic or reputable shop): that's what we need to change what's published.
