Absolut Vanilia is the vanilla-flavored vodka from Absolut, a Swedish brand that has belonged to the French group Pernod Ricard since 2008. It arrived in the United States in 2003, made with Madagascar vanilla; according to Difford's Guide, the bottle was redesigned in 2022, when the strength went from 40% to 38%.
Like all Absolut, it is made with Swedish winter wheat and water from local wells, and produced and bottled in the village of Åhus, in southern Sweden. It receives natural vanilla flavor and, according to Pernod Ricard's Brazilian electronic label, contains no sugar. The house recommends it for the Passion Star Martini, for a version of the Espresso Martini and for mixing with cola.
