Absolut Watermelon is the watermelon-flavored vodka from Absolut, a Swedish brand that has belonged to the French group Pernod Ricard since 2008 and that goes back to the continuously distilled vodka Lars Olsson Smith launched in 1879. According to Difford's Guide, the watermelon version was launched in New York on 19 March 2021.
Like the house's other vodkas, it is made from winter wheat and well water, and produced and bottled in the village of Åhus, in southern Sweden; it receives natural watermelon flavor and, according to Pernod Ricard's Brazilian electronic label, has no sugar. It is bottled at 38%. The house suggests the Absolut Watermelon Cosmopolitan, a spritz with sparkling wine and muddled watermelon, and the Vodkarita.
