Aurora Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is the Cabernet Sauvignon red from the Reserva line of Vinícola Aurora, a cooperative in Bento Gonçalves, in the Serra Gaúcha. The cooperative was founded in 1931 by 16 grape-growing families in a town that had been receiving Italian immigrants since 1875, and it turns 95 in 2026.
It is a dry red fine wine made only with Cabernet Sauvignon from the Serra Gaúcha, from selected, hand-picked grapes, according to the winery. In the 2022 vintage, the wine spent 6 months in French and American oak barrels, as the label itself states. Aurora recommends serving it between 16 and 18 °C, with grilled red meats, lamb and cheeses such as Gruyère.
