Bacardí Añejo Cuatro

by Bacardí · Rum · Puerto Rico, Cuba

40% ABVCuba

Bacardí Añejo Cuatro is the four-year-old golden rum from Bacardí, a house founded in 1862 in Santiago de Cuba; it is made by Bacardí Corporation in Cataño, Puerto Rico, according to the brand's official store. The name comes from the years the spirit spends aging under the Caribbean sun, and Difford's Guide records its launch in April 2018.

It is a blend of rums aged for at least four years in American oak barrels that previously held bourbon, with a capacity of 180 to 200 liters. It comes with a screw cap. The house recommends it for long drinks such as the Cuatro Highball and the Cuba Libre; Brazilian retailers also suggest serving it neat or over ice.
