Baden Baden IPA is the passion fruit American IPA from Cervejaria Baden Baden, founded in 1999 in Campos do Jordão (SP). The name comes from the Baden Baden choperia (draft beer bar), opened in the town in 1985. The brand was bought by Schincariol in 2007, passed to Brasil Kirin and, since 2017, has belonged to the Heineken Group.
It is an all-malt beer in the American India Pale Ale style, with passion fruit juice added to the recipe. It has 6.4% alcohol and 33 IBU of bitterness, and is sold in a 600 ml bottle and a 350 ml can. The brewery recommends serving it at 6 °C to 9 °C, with burgers, tacos, burritos, picanha and grilled entrecôte.
