According to Diageo, the recipe brings together Irish dairy cream, Irish whiskey, neutral spirit, cocoa, vanilla and sugar, and took two years of trials to reach the final formula. The cream comes from the Irish dairy company Tirlán, and the whiskey from several distilleries. On Diageo's Brazilian channel, the brand suggests drinking it neat or in drinks such as the Baileys Espresso Martini.
