Beefeater London Dry

Beefeater London Dry is a London Dry style gin distilled in Kennington, in south London, and owned by the Pernod Ricard group since 2005. The story begins in 1863, when James Burrough bought a distillery in Chelsea; the gin appears in the company's records in 1876, and the name honors the Yeoman Warders, the guards of the Tower of London. Production has been in Kennington since 1958.
Burrough's recipe is still in use and brings together nine botanicals: juniper, angelica root and seed, coriander seed, liquorice, almond, orris root, and lemon and Seville orange peel. They macerate for 24 hours in the grain spirit before distillation, which is carried out in pot stills.
