Belvedere Vodka

Belvedere is a Polish rye vodka launched in 1993 and produced by Polmos Żyrardów, a distillery that has made vodka since 1910. The name comes from the Belweder, the presidential palace in Warsaw, whose façade is drawn on the bottle. The brand belongs to LVMH, which bought 40% of it in 2002 and reached 100% in 2005.
It is made from Polish Dankowskie rye and water, with no additives, as the Polska Wódka designation requires, and goes through four distillations: the first at an agricultural distillery, the other three at Belvedere itself. In Brazil the 700 ml bottle with a blue cap is sold; abroad the house has started selling the organic rye version. The brand suggests serving it over ice or in a Martini.
