Blue Moon Belgian White is the wheat beer that gave rise to the Blue Moon Brewing Company, owned by Molson Coors. It was born in 1995 at the Sandlot Brewery, in Denver, under the name Bellyslide Wit; the current name came from the American expression "once in a blue moon", used for something that happens very rarely. According to the brewery, the brand now reaches more than 25 countries.

It is a hazy, unfiltered Belgian-style wheat ale, made with wheat, Valencia orange peel and coriander, with 9 IBU. The brewery recommends serving it with an orange slice in the glass and pairing it with grilled shrimp, pad thai or marinated chicken.
