Cachaça Boazinha
by Boazinha · Cachaça · Salinas, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Boazinha is one of the cachaças from Cachaças Seleta, a house founded in 1980 by Antônio Rodrigues in Salinas, in the north of Minas Gerais, the same house that makes Seleta Ouro. It took third place in the 2014 Ranking da Cúpula da Cachaça and is sold in 600 ml, 670 ml, 700 ml and 1-liter bottles.
Like its siblings from the house, it comes from copper alembic stills, but rests for two and a half years in bálsamo vats, a wood that gives it its golden color. It is bottled at 42%. The house recommends drinking it neat, at room temperature or chilled, and also in a caipirinha, and pairs it with bar snacks and dishes from Minas Gerais cuisine, such as feijão tropeiro.
