Bulldog London Dry Gin is the flagship gin from Bulldog, a brand created in 2007 by an American entrepreneur with the idea of making a modern London Dry, outside the category's conventions. Launched first in the United States, it reached Europe around 2009, on the wave of the gin and tonic in Spain, and has belonged to the Campari Group since 2017.
It uses 12 botanicals, among them juniper, lavender, lotus leaf, poppy, longan (dragon eye) and cassia. Neutral grain spirit at 96% is redistilled with the botanicals in a copper still; the essence comes off at 76%, receives more neutral wheat spirit and is diluted with demineralized water to 40%. The brand proposes the gin and tonic, the Negroni and the Martini.
