Casa Valduga is a family winery in the Vale dos Vinhedos, in Bento Gonçalves (RS). Its founders descend from immigrants from Rovereto, in northern Italy, who planted the first vineyards there in the late 19th century; the brand uses 'since 1875'. Today the house is run by brothers Erielso, Juarez and João Valduga.

Terroir Cabernet Sauvignon is the varietal in the Terroir line made with hand-harvested grapes from the Campanha Gaúcha. The grapes undergo 48 hours of cold maceration, ferment between 24 °C and 25 °C with 13 days of skin contact and go through malolactic.

The wine ages for 8 months in French oak barrels and a further 12 months in the cellar. The house suggests decanting for 15 to 30 minutes and serving between 16 °C and 18 °C.
