Dom Bosco Tinto Suave
by Dom Bosco · Wine · Brazil
Dom Bosco Tinto Suave is a sweet red table wine from CRS Brands, a drinks company in Jundiaí (SP) founded in 1926 by the Cereser family. The Dom Bosco brand was created in 1937 in honor of the saint of the same name and is the company's oldest and, to this day, its best-selling brand. In 2017 the label turned 80, and CRS Brands reached its centenary in 2026.
It is made with the American grapes Isabel and Bordô. At CRS Brands, each batch goes through the Centro Enológico Pedro Cereser, where the team measures alcohol content, acidity and sugar before release to stock. The Dom Bosco line also has dry red, dry white and sweet white versions, as well as labels made solely from Bordô grapes.
