Esporão Pé Branco

Pé Branco is the entry-level white from Esporão, a Portuguese family company born in the Alentejo and now also present in the Douro and the Vinhos Verdes. It is the counterpart of Pé Tinto: the label shows only Portugal as the origin and a vineyard landscape, and the wine is signed by winemaker Teresa Gaspar. In Brazil, it is imported by Qualimpor.
It is made from several lots of wine, blended to keep the same profile from one vintage to the next. The varieties are Arinto, Fernão Pires and others, and production comes down to blending, stabilization and filtration, with no declared aging in wood. Alcohol ranges from 12% to 13% depending on the vintage, and the importer recommends it with appetisers, fish and seafood.
