Garibaldi Moscatel is the white moscatel sparkling wine from Cooperativa Vinícola Garibaldi, created in 1931 by grape growers in Garibaldi (RS), a town that presents itself as the national capital of sparkling wine. According to the cooperative, it now has 477 members in 18 municipalities, who tend 1,200 hectares of vineyards.

It is made with hand-picked Moscato Branco and Moscato Giallo from the Serra Gaúcha. The must is kept at 0 °C and then undergoes a direct prise de mousse, in a single fermentation in pressure tanks between 13 °C and 15 °C (Asti method). The wine finishes with 65 g/L of sugar and 7.5% alcohol; the house recommends serving it between 4 °C and 6 °C, with fruit, ice cream, cakes and cheeses.
