Glenmorangie The Original 12 Anos

Glenmorangie The Original 12 Years Old is the core single malt of the Glenmorangie distillery in Tain, in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery was opened in 1843 by William Matheson, who converted a brewery in the town, and it distills in the tallest stills in Scotland. It has belonged to the LVMH Moët Hennessy group since 2004.
The spirit is aged for 12 years in American oak casks that previously held bourbon; the house uses white oak from slopes in Missouri and fills each cask twice. It is bottled at 40% alcohol. The distillery presents this 12-year-old version as a reimagining of the Original, and it won a gold medal at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards.
