Heineken 0.0 is the alcohol-free beer from Heineken, the Dutch brewery established in 1873. It was launched in 2017, first in the Netherlands and Germany, and according to the brand it is now available in 58 markets. It keeps the house's green bottle, with a blue label and cap to set the alcohol-free version apart from the original Heineken.
It is an all-malt lager made with water, barley malt, hop extract and Heineken's A-yeast. The beer undergoes double fermentation, the alcohol is removed by vacuum distillation and natural flavorings are then added. The result has less than 0.03% alcohol and 21 kcal per 100 ml, half the calories of the original Heineken.
