Hibiki Japanese Harmony is a Japanese blended whisky from Suntory. The Hibiki brand, the Japanese word for resonance, was launched in 1989 to celebrate the company's 90th anniversary; the Japanese Harmony version, with no age statement, arrived in March 2015. The bottle has 24 facets, one for each micro-season of the Japanese year, and the label is made of Echizen washi paper, with calligraphy by Tansetsu Ogino.
The blend brings together at least ten malt and grain whiskies from the house's three distilleries: Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita. The components age in five types of cask, among them American white oak, sherry-seasoned casks and mizunara, the Japanese oak.
