Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select is the single barrel Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, a distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, owned by Brown-Forman. The distillery debuted its Single Barrel in February 1997; each bottle comes from a single barrel, and the neck tag shows the barrel number and the bottling date.
It follows the Old No. 7 process, with maple charcoal filtering and maturation in new American oak barrels, but the barrels usually come from the highest racks in the warehouses, according to Difford's Guide. In Brazil it comes in a 750 ml bottle, at 47%; the house publishes recipes for drinking it neat, on the rocks, in an Old Fashioned or in a Manhattan.
