Jamel Tradicional
by Jamel · Cachaça · Brazil
Jamel Tradicional is the classic version of Jamel cachaça, from Indústria Missiato de Bebidas, founded on 1 November 1959 in Santa Rita do Passa Quatro (SP) by Comendador Ésio Missiato. In the early years, the bottles were filled by hand and the founder himself sold them around the interior of São Paulo and Minas Gerais in a wooden cart.
It is made from sugarcane spirits and, according to the label, contains cachaça, cane sugar and drinking water, at 39% alcohol, in a 965 ml glass bottle with a pourer cap. The company is now headquartered in Jandaia do Sul (PR) with plants in Anápolis (GO) and Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, and recommends the drink neat or in drinks.
