Johnnie Walker Blue Label Elusive Umami is a limited edition of Blue Label, from Johnnie Walker, a house founded in 1820 in Kilmarnock, Scotland, and now owned by Diageo. It was created by master blender Emma Walker in partnership with Japanese chef Kei Kobayashi, with the aim of bringing umami into a whisky.

The two chose the whiskies as if they were ingredients in a dish, and the producer states that only one in every 25,000 casks was suitable for the blend. The house recommends eating a spoonful of Oscietra caviar and then taking a small sip, repeating the sequence slowly.
