Ketel One Vodka

Ketel One is the vodka from the Nolet family distillery, in Schiedam, the Netherlands, which has been in the same family since 1691. It was launched in 1983, and the name comes from Distilleerketel #1, the house's original copper pot still, which is drawn on the label. In the late 2000s Diageo bought half of the brand; the other half remains with the Nolets.
It is distilled from wheat, combining copper pot stills with modern distillation techniques, and then charcoal-filtered; according to the brand, each batch is approved by a family member. In Brazil it is sold in a 1-liter bottle by Diageo's official store. The house suggests drinking it neat, over ice or in cocktails.
