Laphroaig 10 Anos

Laphroaig 10 Year Old is the core single malt from the Laphroaig distillery, founded in 1815 on the coast of the island of Islay, Scotland, and now owned by Suntory Global Spirits. The label still carries the name D.
Johnston & Co., of the founding family, and the Prince of Wales's warrant. In 1954, Bessie Williamson inherited the distillery from Ian Hunter and became the first woman to own and run a Scotch distillery in the 20th century.
The barley is cold-smoked over a peat fire and dried in those same kilns, on the distillery's own malting floor, facing the sea. After distillation, the whisky spends 10 years in casks that held bourbon. The house suggests drinking it neat or over ice.
