Magnífica Tradicional Ipê is the standard label from Magnífica de Faria, the Faria family's alembic cachaça, made in the mountains of the state of Rio de Janeiro and headquartered in the Santa Teresa neighborhood of the state capital. The family resumed production in 1985, and among its awards the brand cites second place in the 2024 Ranking Cúpula da Cachaça.
After alembic distillation, it rests for at least one year in ipê vats, a Brazilian wood that gives it a slightly yellowish color. The current bottle states 40% on the label. The house recommends it as a base for drinks with citrus fruit, especially the caipirinha.
