Orfeu Clássico is a specialty coffee from Orfeu, a brand launched in 2005 by Roberto Irineu Marinho and his wife, Karen. The story begins in 1995, with the purchase of Fazenda Sertãozinho, in Botelhos, in southern Minas Gerais, where the brand also set up its roastery. Clássico is sold as whole beans and as roast and ground coffee.

It is made only with arabica coffee and classified as specialty coffee, a category that requires beans free of impurities and defects and more than 80 points in sensory analysis. The roast is medium, and Orfeu gives an intensity of 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. For filter or French press, the brand recommends 10 to 12 g of coffee per 100 ml of water; for espresso, 8 to 10 g per 40 ml.
