Pérgola Tinto Suave is the sweet red table wine from Vinícola Campestre, a family company from Rio Grande do Sul now headquartered in Vacaria (RS), in the Campos de Cima da Serra. The brand was born in 1968 in Campestre da Serra (RS) and has ranked first among wines for 12 consecutive years in the Nielsen/ABRAS Sales Leaders ranking, with more than 40 million bottles sold per year.
It is made with American grapes, such as Isabel and Bordô, bought from more than 800 families of small growers in the Serra Gaúcha. The winery fills as many as 150,000 to 200,000 bottles a day. Campestre recommends serving the wine between 8 °C and 10 °C.
