Red Bull Zero is a sugar-free version of Red Bull Energy Drink, from the Austrian company Red Bull, which says it has been giving wings to people and ideas since 1987. It is different from Red Bull Sugarfree, which the brand sells alongside it: both do without sugar, but they use different combinations of sweeteners. In Brazil, it comes in 250 ml, 355 ml and 473 ml cans, with a 'sem açúcar' (sugar-free) band at the top.
The formula contains water, caffeine, taurine, B vitamins (B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12) and three calorie-free sweeteners in place of sugar: sucralose, sodium cyclamate and sodium saccharin. Each 250 ml can has 80 mg of caffeine, which, according to the brand, is about the same as a cup of coffee.
