Salton Brut is the standard brut sparkling wine from Vinícola Salton, of Bento Gonçalves (RS). The company was formally established in 1910 by the children of Venetian immigrant Antonio Domenico Salton, began making sparkling wines in 1933 and, according to the house itself, has led sales of Brazilian sparkling wines in Brazil since 2005, based on Nielsen data.

It is a blend of Chardonnay, Prosecco and Trebbiano from the Serra Gaúcha. The base wine undergoes pneumatic pressing and alcoholic fermentation; the second fermentation takes place in autoclaves (Charmat method) and the dosage leaves 14 g/L of sugar. Salton recommends serving it between 6 °C and 8 °C, with canapés, pasta and white meats.
