Salton Prosecco is the varietal brut sparkling wine from Vinícola Salton, in Bento Gonçalves (RS), made solely from the Prosecco grape, also called Glera, as the label itself states. The company was formally established in 1910 by the sons of the Venetian immigrant Antonio Domenico Salton and began making sparkling wines in 1933.

The grapes come from the Serra Gaúcha. After destemming, pneumatic pressing and fermentation of the base wine, the second fermentation takes place in pressurized tanks (Charmat method), followed by stabilization, filtration and the addition of the expedition liqueur, which leaves 14 g/L of sugar. The house recommends serving it at 6 °C to 8 °C, with canapés, risottos and white meat.
