Schneider Weisse TAP1 Hefeweissbier Naturtrüb is the pale weissbier from Schneider Weisse, a brewery founded in Munich in September 1872 by Georg I. Schneider and his son, Georg II. After the Second World War destroyed the Munich premises, production moved to the former court wheat brewery in Kelheim, where it remains to this day, still with the Schneider family in charge.
It is a golden hefeweissbier, unfiltered and unpasteurized, made with wheat and barley malts and Hallertauer Tradition and Hallertauer Saphir hops. It ferments in open vessels and undergoes Bavarian bottle maturation.
It has 4.9% alcohol, 11.3% original gravity and 14 IBU. It was previously called TAP1 Meine Helle Weisse.
