Schneider Weisse TAP5 Hopfenweisse is a weizendoppelbock from Schneider Weisse, a wheat beer brewery founded in Munich in 1872 and now based in Kelheim, Bavaria. It was born from a transatlantic project: the first batch was brewed in 2007 by the house's brewmaster, Hans-Peter Drexler, with Garrett Oliver, of the Brooklyn Brewery in New York, and the beer has been on the market since 2008.

It uses wheat and barley malts and Hallertauer Tradition and Saphir hops, added in the boil and also cold (dry hopping). It ferments in open vessels, is bottle-refermented and is neither filtered nor pasteurized.

It has 8.2% alcohol, 18.5% original gravity and 40 IBU. The brewery suggests spicy dishes, such as curries and ribs, and chilli chocolates.
