Seleta Ouro is the main label from Cachaças Seleta, a house founded in 1980 by Antônio Rodrigues in Salinas, in the north of Minas Gerais. The brand lists a series of medals for this cachaça, among them four consecutive golds at the Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, from 2020 to 2023.

It is made from selected cane, fermented and distilled in copper alembic stills, and then stored for two and a half years in umburana vats, a Brazilian wood also called amburana, which gives it its golden color. It is bottled at 42%. The house says it can be drunk neat, at room temperature or chilled, in a caipirinha or in drinks such as the Moscow Mule.
