Rum Señor Weber Oro

Señor Weber Oro is the golden rum of the Señor Weber line, from Weber Haus, a distillery founded in 1948 in Ivoti, Rio Grande do Sul. According to the house, the idea was born in a southern Brazilian winter, when a gentleman with a Caribbean accent challenged Evandro Weber to create a rum. The label won gold medals in 2020 and 2021.
It is made from sugarcane molasses and, after distillation, spends one year in casks of three woods: amburana, bálsamo and American oak. It is bottled in 700 ml at 38%. The house suggests drinking it neat, in a short glass with one large ice cube, or in classic cocktails such as the Old Fashioned.
