Sessantanni is the Primitivo di Manduria DOP from Cantine San Marzano, a cooperative founded in 1962 by 19 growers in the town of San Marzano, in Salento, southern Puglia. The label debuted in 2000, and the name, 'sixty years' in Italian, recalls that the grapes come from alberello-trained vines at least six decades old.

It is made solely from Primitivo from old vineyards in San Marzano and Sava, hand-picked with the grapes slightly overripe. After a cold maceration of 24 to 48 hours, it ferments for about ten days at 24 °C to 26 °C; malolactic takes place in stainless steel and the wine spends 12 months in French and American oak barrels. The house recommends serving it at 18 °C, with pasta, red meat and game.
