Spaten Munich Helles is the pale lager from the Spaten brewery in Munich, whose history Ambev dates to 1397. The brand presents itself as the creator of the Munich Helles style and as one of the official Oktoberfest breweries. After a first stint in the country as an import, Spaten was relaunched in Brazil in 2021 with local production, at Ambev's plant in Campinas (SP), and is now also made at other plants, such as Anápolis (GO).
It is an all-malt beer made with water, malt and hops, following the German Purity Law, according to Ambev. The ABV stated by the manufacturer is 5.2%. It is sold in cans from 269 to 473 ml and in 355 and 600 ml bottles.
