St-Germain is a French elderflower liqueur launched in 2007 by Robert J. Cooper, a third-generation distiller; the brand presents it as the world's first elderflower liqueur. The name honors Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a Paris neighborhood, the bottle follows the Belle Époque style, and the brand now belongs to Bacardi.

The flowers are hand-picked once a year, in late spring, over three to four weeks, and each bottle contains up to a thousand of them. According to Difford's Guide, they come from the foothills of the French Alps and are macerated within 48 hours of picking in a spirit made from Chardonnay and Gamay grapes. The house recommends it for the St-Germain Spritz, the gin and tonic and cocktails with sparkling wine.
