The company has been in Brazil since 1934, and the liqueur is made here by Distillerie Stock do Brasil; according to the maker, it won gold at the World Drinks Awards and bronze at the International Spirits Challenge, in London.
The maker describes the recipe as made from apricot kernels, honey and flowers; the ingredient list in the official store gives water, sugar, alcohol, almond concentrate, honey and caramel coloring. It is 28% alcohol and comes in a 700 ml textured glass bottle, with a bear on the label. The house recommends it neat, on ice, in cocktails and in desserts.
