TNT Original is the standard energy drink from TNT Energy Drink, a brand of Grupo Petrópolis, owner of Itaipava beer. The company was founded in 1994 in Petrópolis (RJ) and bought in 1998 by businessman Walter Faria; the TNT energy drink was launched in 2009.
It is a sugared energy drink based on caffeine and taurine, with inositol and vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12. According to the brand's nutrition table, each 100 ml has 35 mg of caffeine, 400 mg of taurine and 6.3 g of sugars. It is also sold in a 269 ml can, and there is the Original Zero version, without sugar.
