Vedett Extra White
by Vedett · Beer · Belgium
Vedett Extra White is the Belgian wheat beer from Vedett, a brand of the Duvel Moortgat brewery, headquartered in Breendonk, Belgium. Vedett was created in 1945 by Albert Moortgat as a pilsner and, from 2003, was relaunched as a lager aimed at young drinkers in urban bars; Extra White took the brand into the witbier style.
It is a naturally cloudy witbier, spiced with coriander and orange peel and hopped with Saaz, Styrian Golding and Hallertau Magnum. It has 4.7% alcohol, 5 EBU of bitterness and 43 kcal per 100 ml, and is sold in a 330 ml bottle; the label recommends serving it at 3 °C.
