6 Anos Reserva Especial is one of the aged cachaças from Weber Haus, the Weber family distillery in Ivoti, in the Serra Gaúcha, whose alembic was built in 1948 on Lote 48. The house's official store lists gold medals at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2006, 2009 and 2010 and at the 2015 Brazil edition, as well as Grand Gold at the 2019 Concurso de Vinhos e Destilados do Brasil.
It is made from sugarcane juice fermented and distilled in a copper alembic still, and spends five years in French oak casks and another year in bálsamo barrels, a Brazilian wood. It comes in at 38%, in a 750 ml bottle with a wooden stopper, and the house recommends serving it neat, at room temperature, in a glass designed for spirits.
