Weber Haus Prata Clássica is the white cachaça from Weber Haus, a distillery founded in 1948 in Ivoti, Rio Grande do Sul, by a family of German origin whose patriarch arrived in Brazil in 1824. The house grows its cane without pesticides or synthetic fertilizer and holds organic certification; the label is numbered and carries the Produto Orgânico Brasil seal.
It is distilled in a copper alembic still, with the heads and tails discarded, and rests for a year in stainless steel tanks, without passing through wood. It goes into the 750 ml bottle at 38%. The house suggests drinking it neat, at room temperature or lightly chilled, or as a base for caipirinhas and mojitos.
