Baly Tradicional is the standard energy drink from Baly Brasil, a company in Tubarão, in southern Santa Catarina. The company was founded in 1997 as Bebidas Grassi, a maker of wines and cachaças, began producing soft drinks in 2004 and launched its first energy drink in 2009, sold in a PET bottle, a format little used in the category at the time.
It is a liquid energy compound based on caffeine and taurine, made with carbonated water, sugar, maltodextrin, guaraná extract, inositol and vitamins B3, B5, B6 and B12. It is sold in 250 ml and 473 ml cans and in a 2 liter PET bottle, and the brand also has a sugar-free version.
