Stella Artois, an Ambev brand, has launched Stella Pure Gold Draft, the draft version of Pure Gold, a gluten-free, lower-calorie beer created in Brazil. The recipe is the same as the bottled version; according to the brand, keg service makes the foam creamier and longer-lasting. The launch was reported by Catraca Livre on Wednesday, October 21, and by Revista Business the following day.

Where it is

Pure Gold Draft debuts at 12 restaurants, six in each city. In São Paulo, the list includes Bottega Bernacca, Le Freak, Votre, Notie, Nino and Fresta. In Rio de Janeiro, Aprazível, Casa Horto, Malta Leblon, Rufino Parrilla, Xian and Tragga Del Mar. There is no information on price or on arrival in other cities.

In May, IstoÉ Dinheiro had already reported that São Paulo had received a draft version of Pure Gold before other state capitals. Now the brand presents the Draft as a new step and also takes the beer to venues in Rio.

Pure Gold's numbers

According to Ambev, Pure Gold grew 180% in the second quarter of 2026, and the portfolio the company calls wellness, with alcohol-free, gluten-free and low-calorie beers, grew more than 60% over the same period of 2025. In March, the brand had already launched a 600 ml bottle; before that, Pure Gold was sold only in long necks, according to IstoÉ Dinheiro.

The same report said Pure Gold has 17% fewer calories than traditional Stella Artois and that, in the first quarter, the beer's volume had risen 160%. In the same period, Michelob Ultra grew 180% and Corona Cero 70%, and the group of alcohol-free, low-calorie and gluten-free beers rose 70%, the fastest-growing segment in percentage terms at Ambev.

For the executive, Pure Gold's growth shows that the wellness segment is gaining relevance in consumer choices. According to her, the Draft broadens the beer's repertoire for different occasions.
