Brahma was the fastest-growing beer brand in the world by value in 2026, according to the annual ranking from British consultancy Brand Finance, released on October 8. The Brazilian brand's value rose 65% to US$1.9 billion, and it climbed six places to 19th among the planet's 50 most valuable beers.
According to Brand Finance, Brahma benefits from stronger pricing, premiumization and sustained brand investment, as well as staying relevant to celebratory drinking occasions. Second among the fastest growers was Thailand's Chang, up 50% to US$1.4 billion, in 25th place. Vietnam's Saigon rose 37% to US$845 million.
Little changed at the top of the list. Corona Extra kept its title as the world's most valuable beer, up 4% to US$13.9 billion. Heineken came second, up 7% to US$13.8 billion. Mexico's Modelo Especial gained 14%, reached US$8 billion and overtook Budweiser to take third.
Budweiser lost 35% of its value and fell to fourth, at US$7.7 billion. For the consultancy, the drop is part of a broader decline of traditional US lagers: Bud Light lost 19% to US$4.7 billion and fell from fifth to eighth, and Busch dropped 26% to US$1.2 billion.
In China, the world's largest beer market, Tsingtao rose 30% to US$4.7 billion and moved from ninth to sixth. It is also the world's strongest beer brand, scoring 95.7 out of 100 on Brand Finance's brand strength index. Fellow Chinese brand Snow grew 13% to US$5.3 billion. Among European brands, Guinness had one of the best years among established names: up 26% to US$4.3 billion, in ninth place. Together, the 50 brands are worth US$118.8 billion, 1% more than the previous year.

Brand Finance calculates brand value using the royalty relief method: it estimates the benefit an owner would get by licensing the brand on the market. It is not the same as revenue. Brahma is in the Bebidário catalog as Brahma Chopp and Brahma Duplo Malte.
